Lauran of Valkyrie Mounted Archery is an experienced horseback archery coach, dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized training to riders and their horses throughout Scotland and Northern England. With a unique horse-led approach, Lauran’s coaching emphasizes allowing the horse to develop self-management skills, while breaking training down into small, achievable steps that build confidence and skill in both horse and rider.

Lauran leads regular group sessions across Kilmarnock, Braco, Hamilton, Lockerbie, and Hexham, and is available for private group or individual bookings, pony camps, and classroom workshops. She specializes in training children and young athletes through an age-appropriate grading league and offers resources like the Horseback Archery Beginner Magazine.
