Breathtaking studio lit equine portraits with a horse centred approach.

Using a relaxed and equine informed approach, we’ll produce a series of stunning studio lit portraits of your horse that will move you to tears. Inspired by the work of classical masters such a Stubbs and Wordsworth, images take on an old worldly feel, capturing everything that makes your horse who they are.

The final images will feature a mix of full body portraits, head and shoulder portraits, as well as more detail oriented shots, honing in on those wonderful features that you know so well, such as the unique markings on their head, the expressiveness of their eye, or their richly coloured soft muzzle.

With a portable studio setup, the studio comes to you so that we can shoot in an environment where your horse is his most relaxed self. And with a deep knowledge of equine body language and a sensitivity to your horse’s emotional state, you can rest assured that your horse will be well attended to, being given breaks the second they hint at a moment of stress or need a moment to reregulate.

I’ve worked with a huge range of horses over the years, from the secret worriers, to the super laid back, to the busy fidgeters, and with every subject have successfully created a number of beautiful portraits that their humans treasure, whilst maintaining an air of calm throughout the entirety of their session.

Our horses are our everything, they deserve to be honoured with a portrait that can wholly express how much they mean to us, immortalising their essence for years to come.
