A unique mix of art and equine. Internationally published, multi award winning photographer Jane connects her background as an equine painter with that of a photographer to create a beautiful fusion of both worlds. Her images not only capture the beauty of the horse, but also it’s power, spirituality and kindness… 

From yard shoots, fine art portraits and action shots to theatre, events and stunt shows, she thoroughly enjoys creating unique and memorable images.

Not solely an equine photographer, Jane enjoys capturing images of owners and their four-legged families, cats, dogs, birds and the odd rodent have all featured recently in her work.

Jane’s background as a dressage rider, judge, horse breeder and lead rein mum, involved in the horse world for nearly 40 years, gives her a specialist insight into horse behavior and movement which is evident in her work. She loves to celebrate the bond between horse and owner allowing her to capture timeless moments, as well as more daring exploits, spending the last 6 years working with one of the UK’s leading stunt riders, Ben Atkinson.

With over 170 outfits in her photoshoot wardrobe, 20 plus ornate bridles and a multitude of props, she can create a multitude of styles for extra special art shoots full of opulence and detail. Photoshop enhancement to change both background, atmosphere, mood or colour elevates her images from mere photography to pure works of art… It’s your choice of genre from a rich painterly style to full on fantasy!

She is available to shoot individual or group portraits, fine art sessions and events, as well as personal branding, stallion adverts, product and commercial imagery. Recent clients include Stübben UK.

A qualified adult education tutor, Jane runs photography workshops across the UK and hosts a popular online education platform for creative equine photography. She also lectures both nationally and internationally on fine art photography, editing techniques and unleashing your creativity, supporting other photographers to establish their own style and learn new skills.
